Sister

Most of my friends think I am an only child, actually I have an elder sister who lives in HK. We seldom contact to each other, and we haven't seen each other for 5 years. Well, I would say our relationship has been tense for some years, so we didn't have much to say. When I went back to HK last month, I was surprised that we had seen each other 5 times and she called me almost everyday! Although we didn't chat much over the phone, but I could sense the care and love of her. I was surprised that I missed her! The day we shopped together made me remember those days we shopped when we were young. Time flies and we have different life and family now, and small opportunity to spend time together. But after this trip, one thing I am sure is the love between us has not gone, it just we expressed our love in different ways!

Elisha's Birthday Party

It had a heavy snow the day before Elisha's birthday party, and it continued to snow to the next day. In that day morning, I was worried that people wouldn't come to the party because of the bad weather. However, we couldn't cancel the party as everything was booked and prepared, so party should go on! I was so touched that people who promised to decorate for us punctually arrived the party place and guests who arrived before us helped us to decorate!! Then finally almost all guests came shown up and we had a great time! I was so moved that people cared us so much that they still attended the party despite of the big snow!
Well, I bet Elisha did not know it was her birthday party, acutuall she did not know what had happened, but I will show her the photos in the future and tell the story and let her know how blessing she is that so many uncles and aunties love her and care of her. Of course, I feel blessed too as I have so many friends who love and treasure our family!!

Donation

I frequently receive call or mail for donation, and I used to reluctant to refuse it . Then there are too many donation request and I have to screen them. I pay cheque for these donation, and whenever I write the cheque, I feel blessed because God provides me than enough so I can give to the needy. The amount of money I donate is not huge, but it's enough to give a hot meal to homeless people, or save an animal life or even a child life! Thanks God that I can give a hand to a needy!

Sick

Elisha and Denis are sick, so Denis slept at other bedroom and Elisha slept with me. Because Elisha slept with me when we were in HK, so she has slept with me for about 4 weeks. She turned, stood up, crawled cried while she was sleeping, so I didn't sleep well. Especially now, she frequently woke up in the middle of night due to the cough or running nose. Since then, I couldn't have more than 3 hours straight sleep and after I woke, I couldn't fall back to sleep until she woke up in the morning and Denis took care of her. I was quite frustrated when she cried and couldn't get back to sleep in the night because I was tired and I didn't have enough patience to her! I know it' s not her fault, she's also a victim of the sickness! Thanks God that I didn't feel very tired when I was working. The most important thing is that I still have strength to take care her and Denis! When I looked at Elisha suffering from the sickness, I felt helpless as I could do nothing to sooth her or make her recover. What I can do is pray for her! Once again, I experience that it's not me or anyone else who can fully protect and take care of Elisha, but God!
